Deconstructing Fashion Podcast

Deconstucting Fashion was a monthly audio podcast. It took a talk show format to discuss thoughts on fashion and culture, past and present.

Deconstructing Fashion was borne out of a desire to address a gap in the podcast market between fashion history, popular culture, and current affairs. Topics included: vignettes from fashion history, exhibition reviews, summaries of conferences, analyses of contemporary modes of dress, and more.

I co-hosted the podcast alongside fashion and media studies researchers Siân and Lindsay. We three originally met whilst studying MA Fashion Cultures at London College of Fashion. We recorded the podcast between 2016 and 2018. We had great feedback from audiences, but eventually stopped due to us all going on to start our PhDs, and running out of free time!

Some episodes are still available to listen on iTunes and
